…AND THE KICK OFF OF OUR 2016 QUACKER FACTORY SWEEPSTAKES!
For those of you new to our Quacker Family, here’s a little history behind ‘National Quacker Day!’ And.… for our Veteran Quackers, we hope you’ll enjoy a short trip down memory lane.
Jeanne Bice’s debut on QVC was February 4th, 1995. Viewers fell instantly in LOVE! Her ‘sparkle and shine’ design concept was innovative and unique. QVC knew they had a Diamond in the Rough! Over the years, Quacker Factory grew to be much more than just a brand of clothing, largely in part because Jeanne was so candid- so real- so approachable! She truly inspired her customers and connected with them on a personal level. Jeanne wanted them to look and feel great… decorated TOP to BOTTOM in BLING!!!
Customers couldn’t get enough of her beautiful designs and received compliment after compliment everywhere they went! Women began to recognize each other at our LIVE shows, started planning their own get togethers and formed deep lasting friendships. Because of Jeanne, they saw themselves as a community…a Sisterhood. They started calling themselves Quackers and greeted one another on the street with ‘QUACK QUACK’…and still do to this very day!

Jeanne applied for official designation of National Quacker Day in 2010 to honor ALL ‘Quacker’ Women … and their GREAT Spirit. She chose Feb 4th because it was her first appearance on air. So, that year we celebrated our very first NQD (National Quacker Day) on QVC with a LIVE audience show! Her son Tim, President of Quacker Factory and also a songwriter, put together a band for the premiere and played his theme song from his CD ‘Splash!’ It was a very special day for Angel too because it was her first appearance as Quacker Factory’s guest!!!

I haven’t been able to purchase any QF apparel for quite awhile, but I do have several of Jeanne’s sweaters and love them. One of my favorites is a summer cardigan with the detachable button covers. Oh what a wonderful prize – I’m crossing my fingers and toes!! I recently purchased my first pair of dream jeannes and love them – and bought a pair for my daughter who is developmentally disabled. She likes them and they fit – this is also her very first piece of Quacker Factory clothing – and for her to wear something with bling – wow!!!
My friend and I were a little disappointed the Q didn’t have a live audience this year for National Quacker Day. We were lucky to attend almost all of them. Love my QF and hope I’m one of the lucky ones.
When will there be a Quacker Factory Cruise?
Is there anyway Quacker Factory can make it easier to get into the live audience shows? The “fastest laptop draw” or the “dueling laptops” technique of online ticket winning is not working for me. I have waited years and not getting any younger tryong to win a seat for a live audience show.
Maybe a drawing or lottery?
I have so many sweaters from Jeanne and today I wore the red one with hearts for valentines day. I love it because it has a big heart on the back.

Watched Angel on QVC Valentines night and she mentioned the sweepstakes and asked us to visit so I did. Love Quacker Factory I have a ten inch difference from my hips to waist jeans are a nightmare for me to find. QF is the miracle worker jean maker company. Love love love QF
I watched Quacker Factory on QVC on 2/14/16 and purchased the Leopard Stripe Bling duet 3/4 sleeve knit top in (black), the Anchor Detail 3/4 sleeve sweater in (dark navy) and (red) and the Butterfly Trio 3/4 sleeve T-shirt in (hot pink). They all fit great on me. I heard about the Sweepstakes on that show and decided to enter. I LOVE..LOVE..LOVE everything Quacker Factory makes. Angel, keep up the good work.
