Hi Sue,
Hope that everything is okay with you. It is a shame that you are going to quit posting on here. You will be missed.

Hi Adele,
It is hard when our kids go thru things like that. We are just glad that we had the room to take them in. It would not have mattered we would have taken them in no matter what. It has been nice having them here. I am glad that they came and they help out so much here all the time.
I heard that after they made that accusation that…[Read more] -

Hi Gail,
That is a good picture of you and Greg. You looked so pretty in your outfit and your hair fixed like that. Everyone looked so nice in the picture. I guess they would it is a wedding. That was a dumb statement. I am glad that she finally got married and looked like she was feeling better.
Brook is now looking for a job and we are hoping…[Read more] -

Hey Gailster!
That is a great picture. I love your outfit, and your hair looks great. Your hair grew in fabulously! Is that a Quacker top? the blue/black combo is one of my favorites.
I love your SIL’s gown. What a beautiful fabric. She does not look like she was in the hospital that day- God less her.
Didn’t I read that one of your grands…[Read more] -

Hi Adele,
We would be cold if the heat was set at 64. I keep it at 68 in the winter and Greg is always complaining of the cold but it’s such a big house with just the two of us in it and I hate to spend a lot of money on heating all the empty rooms. When we first built it is was very warm and air tight but now after twenty years I guess the…[Read more] -

Hi Colleen
That is very funny that you both age each other the same thing. You must have both been thinking of the cold winter we are having.
I hope they keep Mandy on too. It is awful to have to start over, and find a place to live. That has happened to Heather a few times, especially with the 2 divorces. It took a real toll on her, and the…[Read more] -

Hi DD,
We are finally warmer here-in the 30’s. That spate of arctic weather was awful. Every time I had to go out in it I just couldn’t get warmed up when I came inside without getting into bed and getting under the covers. Brrrrr!
I hope you will be able to have a visit with Kay soon.
I know I get stiff too if I do too much so i have learned to…[Read more] -

Hi Sue
I just read your post, and I hope nothing I said made you feel bad.
We all love you on here, and want to help with anything we can. I always say a prayer for all my Quacker buddies every night. I will add an extra one for you. I know it must be awful to be stuck in with the ice all over the place. Being stuck inside, and not even able to…[Read more] -

Hi Colleen,
You know Lubbock is about two hours from where Brent lives so it’s kind of like us going into Chicago or maybe you going into Saint Louis. It’s just that he is going into a totally different state-that makes it seem farther.
It’s good that the girl’s continue with their activities even though they are temporarily living at your house.…[Read more] -

Hi Barbara,
Thank you for all the good information. It is really helpful. Brent did wear the monitor and now they want him to wear it again for a longer period of time. I did feel better after reading your post so that’s a good thing. I am glad that he has a GP who seems to be covering all the bases and she sounds like a sensible and kind person…[Read more] -
