@cssoapstar Hello Caran, thank you so much for accepting me as a friend on here, so pleased you did , hope you are having a nice day so far today, ive been busy today, cooking up some food for my dog patch who needs to lose some weight, cooked him up a whole chicken,some lambs liver, chicken livers and rice, froze them up into bags so hes got plenty of food to last a while now, hes also got tinned pilchard fish, which he likes, we had to cut out the treats for him too, he only gets walked once a day as i cannot walk him with my bad foot problem , but my partner takes him out for a long walk before he goes off to work, he works at our local airport stansted airport, well they call it London Stansted, although its not near London, where do you live? we live in England , Hertfordshire, a place called Bishops Stortford, its a small town realy, old though, some buildings here date back hundreds of years! im going to get my dog patch fed now and out side in the garden, its nice we have the lighter evenings now, gets dark here around 7.30pm now, stewart my partner will be home around 8,45pm tonight, he works five days a week, tues to saturdays he starts work at 11.30am and finishes work at 8pm., by the time he gets home and changed its around 9pm, we have dinner and i get ready to go to bed, stewart washes the dishes, hes days off are sunday and mondays, shopping is done sundays for us, hope you are ok there today, im tired out , been busy with cooking most of today and cleaning and doing laundry too, take care and thank you again for your friendship, appreciate is very much take care hugs to you from across the duck pond christine

I am happily retired. I live in Southern California near Disneyland.right now I’m waiting to have back surgery so I am not very active. I do swim everyday since it’s the only e excise I can do right now.
I had no recollection that this site had this ability to talk to friends.
Hello Caran, thank you so much for your mail, so sorry to hear about your back problem, hope and pray the surgery goes well for you, I have arthritis in my lower back and its so painfull, especially in wet, damp weather we have had here lately, so you live near disneyland, how wonderfull, its nice you get to swim each day, I have a problem with my right foot, has it for three years now, had lots of treatments on it, including injections , acupuncture , im going to have treatment on it at a London hospital next month, got to go for three weeks, once a week, its deep shock wave therapy, so up early those three dates in may for that, going to get the train to london for that treatment, I have only one kidney too, and i have asthma, and a few other health issues, but i carry on the best i can do, we have a dog patch who is three years old, a springer spaniel dog, hes black and white, hes a little overweight so hes on a diet, and we have to not give him treats, hes not very happy with that though! I cooked up some chicken, rice, lambs liver, chicken livers on tuesday for him, hes got chicken and rice tonight, I made a shepherds pie for our dinner tonight, its mince, peas, carrots, onions and gravy with mashed potatoe on top, not had that for a while, so decided to make that today, only needs reheating in the oven for around 35 mins, stewart my partner will be home around 8.45pm, so dinner is around 9pm for us, stewarts work changed hes times of working and days of working last summer, so hes now doing five days , 11.30am -8pm, he gets sundays and mondays off, sundays is shopping day for us, but we have to rush around as stores here sunday only open from 10am -4pm, then we have to sort the shopping out, stewart walks patch as i cannot due to my foot problem, and then its dinner, i have to call my dad sundays too, so its rushed a bit sundays, its nice it stays lighter for a little longer in the daytime now,, and i cannot believe it today we had a lovely sunny day, nice spring day weather, I love my quacker clothes, i live in my dream jeans and tops, we do not have the choice you have over there though, very limited on colours and tops, i try to buy quacker tops when they are reduced a bit in price, not much else going on here today, do hope you are doing ok, and i hope your back is not causing you too much pain, i know what pain is like, i have pain killers i take each day including morphine tablets, but i try not to take too many pain pills in the daytime as i have things to do here, cleaning up, laundry etc and ive got to be alert as patch will sometimes get into big trouble!! anyway you take care now big hugs to you there christine
