the big 50 is only a number!! lol, you will be ok, im now 56, was 56 xmas day last year, so 57 this year! where in the uk do you live? I live in the uk too, in bishops stortford, hertfordshire, i live with my partner stewart he works at stansted airport , its about 8 miles from us here, he works shifts, he does 2 days working 4am till 1pm and 2 days mid day till 9pm then has 2 days off, today and tomorrow are hes 2 days off, he works in the duty free shop he is a whiskey and wine specialist, i do not work due to ill health, i have asthma, arthritis in my back and right hand, have had a foot problem for nearly 2 yrs, for which im under a specialist for, had injections in my foot, which has not helped, had numerous insoles, none of them help me, i have to wear this boot thing at night in bed, that gives me a little bit of relief,, but ive still got to do things in the house, i have one kidney too, i was recently in hospital early feb, went to the drs got antibiotics for a kidney infection i had , came home took one antibiotic tablet, came upstairs , laid on the bed for a bit then got up to go to the bathroom, when suddenly everything went black and i collapsed! luckily stewart was here and heard me fall, he called the ambulance , they were here within 5 mins, they took me to hospital, they think i had another infection going on in my body and thats why i collapsed, i was in there for three days then came home, but had nurses come in to take bloods each day for around 5 days, they would give me iv antibiotics, but im slowly getting back to normal now, we have a springer spaniel dog patch, hes 2, hes a rascal though, he cannot be let off the lead as he tends to run off, he ran off a few months ago, he managed to jump up and unlock the back gate and he ran off to the green around the corner, but the rascal would not come to me at all, i tried treats and he wouldnt come to me, luckily he ran on a green where there are old peoples homes around it, and one elderly lady coaxed patch into her home and i was able to get him back then, but it sure did frighten me, i thought he was going to get run over by a car or something, i had an asthma attack trying to get him back too, hes not allowed off the lead yet though, i hope you have a wonderfull birthday, yes i think we should have more quacker shows here, patrick did mail me to say hes doing a show here on 6th march, I love quacker clothes, they last so long too, i love the dream jeans, for xmas stewarts parents got me the dream jean leggings and that criss cross velvet top, i want to try thier capris, maybe i will get some this year, i will put a friends request to be friends with you, hope you will agree to be friends with me, looking forward to hearing all about you if you decide you want to be friends with me, take care hugs to you christine
