@lynwallace i hope you will agree to be my friend on here, its a good thing that jean bice started this site realy, not many people from England on here though, wish there were more, ive made so many friends on here, think jean bice would be so pleased about that, i love quacker clothes, they are so comfy to wear, i love my dream jeans, live in them!! got so many tops too, i tend to get my tops when they go on clearance prices!! the best buy i got was over £30 off one top!! hugs to you christine

    • I too love Quacker. We were lucky enough to see Jeanne at QVC several times. I don’t live too far from West Chester about 3 hours. Live in Quacker too!! When ever we travel that’s all I take. Love the Bling!! There’s an outlet @ 1hr. from me, but its hit or miss – mostly miss lately. We go about every 2 or 3 months. Prices are excellent, if you can find something. But it’s fun to take a chance

      • Hi Lyn, thank you so much for your mail to me, appreciate it, wow you have been to some of the q v c shows, how lucky are you? i guess Jeanne was a wonderfull woman in real life, i have most of her books, one i got recently sent to me by a friend i met on here nancy who lives in rhode island she sent me jeannes xmas book, i love it, ive read some of her books and she sure had a life, i cried when i read in one of her books her husband Butch died at her feet, how awful for that to happen to anyone, but she just picked herself up and carried on despite having children to bring up, she sure was an inspiration to us all, i love the quacker clothes, they wash and wash and keep their colour too, colleen another friend on here i met sent me a quacker short sleeved top with an owl on it last xmas its got pearls on it, its a blueish colour, lovely it is, i love it, the only thing was we had to pay import duty on it,but hey its worth every penny i paid import duty on it, i love quacker, but we do not have as much choice as you do there though, pity, i wish we had the choice like you do, i love the 2 piece tops that you have there, the what looks like t.shirt and gilet sets, we dont have those here, we have limited styles of jeans too, i tend to go for the straight leg jeans and i did get a pair of the embellished pocket jeans last xmas, my partner stewart bought those for me, they are lovely too, but i always have to cut the bottoms off though, I’m only around 5 ft tall and they are always around 31 inch leg, I’m only 25 inch leg! but they do say good things come in small packages!! i hope you are keeping ok there, its so hot here today, i have a kidney infection right now, i only have one kidney and its the wrong shape, so have to drink plenty of fluids in this very hot weather, our puppy dog patch hates the hot weather, he finds cool places to lie down, ive had the curtains drawn all day and the fan going too trying to keep it as cool as i can do, I’m doing fish and chips for dinner tonight, stewart my partner is working the early shift again the next few days, 4am-12/15pm, he works at our local airport stansted, he works in the whiskey shop, he’s a whiskey specialist, wine specialist, anyway you take care my friend and try and keep cool hugs to you christine

    • I seem to have the opposite problem with the pants, I need the 31 inch inseam. Jeanne was so down to earth and funny, I loved just listening to her talk. You are so right she was an inspiration.
Not nice having to pay duty on a gift – ugh! But the tops are worth it. Now Stewart’s job sounds interesting, a whiskey and wine specialist. I’m not big on whiskey but do like sweet wines. Had a raspberry wine slushy last weekend and it was soooo good!. I’m going to try to make one at home. Great for all this hot weather. Take care and have a good night
