Bringing flowers home to find the perfect spot for them to thrive thrills me and calms me. Creating a safe, festive environment where I can celebrate the mundane always brings me comfort, its’ the simple thing in life that sustain me….besides my Dog, she used to grin all the time at this age, had her lip stuck in her teeth, that memory always…[Read more]

“Love Comes Softly” is a movie often on the Hallmark channel…based on the book series by Jannette Oke. Others in the series arte good, too, but this is my favorite of these movies.

I treat myself to a massage at least once a month. I also have just started taking yoga again– to be centered & to listen to my body!

I am very busy at work. Business has picked up and everyone is looking for lumber.
I love being on the water if I had the time and the money I would be on a cruise ship often. I hope Quacker Factory does another cruise and my legs are good enough to go.
I am told Cuddles is fine. I have not seen her since last summer. I am just hoping we get…[Read more] -

Seeing our grandkids puts me in a good mood. Especially when they are dancing with great abandon around their living room. I try to take some time everyday to sit down and read my book. Reading is one of my life’s greatest pleasures you meet all sorts of different people and can travel the globe just by picking up a book. Also sitting and petting…[Read more]

There is a movie called Young at Heart about a man that formed a choral group with a group of senior citizens. It’s a documentary not fictional but it is one of the most heartwarming and feel good movies that I have ever seen although there are sad parts too. After I discovered it a few years back I lent it out to a bunch of people and told them…[Read more]

Okay-I’ll bring up the elephant in the room. It has to be the time the caller told Jeanne that the little bones dangling from the bottom of a Halloween sweater looked like little “hard ons.” Even Jeanne was speechless after that one! Everyone totally cracked up. I’m sure it has to be on YouTube […]>
