Perfect time of the year for creative hostess gifting!!
I love this time of the year!! Whether you are taking gifts to your neighbors, to your family or to the hostess with the mostess, I think this recipe will be a hit not matter where you go!!
Cinnamon sugar Pecans:
1 Egg white
1/2 cup Brown sugar, packed
1/8 tsp Cayenne
1 tbsp Cinnamon, ground
1/2 cup Granulated sugar
1 tsp Salt
4 cups Pecans, unsalted halves
Mix the dry ingredients together (sugars, salt, pepper) & smooth out any lumps.
Toss the pecans with the egg white till the pecans are coated.
Add the dry ingredients & toss till coated.
Spread out on a parchment lined baking sheet—in a single layer.
Bake at 300 degrees for 20 minutes; stir the nuts around, then place back in the oven for 20
Let cool, then place in a fun container for gift giving!! Don’t forget a festive bow!!
I received these nuts a few years ago in a gift basket with a handmade ornament & some other homemade goodies. This gift made my night & the nuts are CRAZY addictive!! Hope you enjoy these, as much as my family does!
