Hi Adele,
Well the thunder and lightning have stopped for awhile but we think that we will get more. It is so hot an muggy outside. That kind of makes me nervous. Hope that it cools down tomorrow and the storms are all over with.
That would be so much fun for all of us to get together. We would all be laughing and having a good time. The macaroni sounds good with your sauce on it. I have the recipe that you gave me last year so will use that again. It was really good. Everyone in the family really liked it. May have to make some for my mom. She liked it a lot and she will never do anything like that.
I like Blake Shelton also. I cannot remember what show I saw him on but he seemed like such a nice guy. There are a few of them that you can tell that they would be nice in person and others that you would not want to be around. It is a shame that they act like that.
Did you get your tree put up out in the yard? It will be really pretty. That is nice that it has a remote so you can change the lights. Everyone will be liking that tree and be asking where you got it. Did you like the white ones also? They will be pretty out in the yard or are you going to put them on the deck with the brown one? I always miss the really nice things.
That is funny that we know that we are going to have to argue with our husbands before we ever start to do something. It would be like that with Ron also. He would not want to put it up and would complain and try to get out of putting it up. I found a way to get to him though. All I have to do it to tell him that I will call the neighbor that we are friends with. Most of the time then he will get it done. The only thing I cannot do that on is the tile for the bathroom. He is supposed to come and help Ron anyway. There are just some things you just cannot win.

Sue, I appreciate any information that you can give me on the hover boards. I did not know that it was still happening with the hover boards. They showed that one on QVC and talked about all the improvements but they must not have improved them as much as they said. I would not want to hurt my grandson that is for sure.

Hi Adele,
I think that I will make some more of that sauce. It was really good and it kept really good in the freezer. It was nice to have in there and could just grab it when I needed it.
I think that I am going to have to get off of here. It is starting to look stormy and have a few things I better do before the storm comes. I will write more when this all passes over.

Hi Gail,
That recipe might be worth a try then. I had never had watermelon with any type of cheese. Guess it is just something that I have never thought of going together. Have you had the balsamic glaze on it? That I will have to look for. They may have it at our Schnucks stores. They have a wider variety of things.
You will have to let us know if it helps Greg’s back or not. It will be interesting to find out. I finally saw a video of that thing and saw how it worked. I thought it was a new thing for your thighs. So had that all wrong.
Ethan is bad about saying that some people are not very smart. We had a talk about that once when he was here. Even though he is smart he has to be tolerant of other people. They all put up with him and his attitude sometimes. He gets upset with his teachers at the regular school and rolls his eyes at them. Wish they had a school where he could go all the time and not have to worry about him learning things. He needs to be challenged.I do not think that they do that for him in regular school He does so much better when he goes to his special classes at the other school.
That is a good experience for the kids. It is nice that they get to keep the money when the animal is auctioned off. Do any of them get attached to the animal that they have to auction? That would be hard if they did. They may be use to it since they were brought up on the farm and are use to those types of things. When will Kendall and Lacklan be old enough to do this? Do not know if there is an age limit or if they are not interested yet.
Hope that cough goes away soon. You need to be able to go running around again. I can imagine that you really miss your grand kids. It is hard not to get to see them for awhile.

Hi Adele,
Do you have some eye drops to put in your eye to help. That is not good that all that saw dust was in the house. It was nice that Heather came over and helped you finish cleaning. It is disgusting to see them do things so much faster them us. We could get things done so much faster when we were their age. When did we get old? It seems like yesterday we were doing all our chores and doing all the shopping and running around that needed to be done and now it takes a week to do the things we did in one day. Oh well I guess it happens to everyone sooner or later.
That will be a rough 3 months for Nancy and her son. We will be praying for him and for Nancy. She is lucky to have you around to talk to and to comfort her. I cannot imagine having to go thru that twice. To lose one child to cancer and then to have another one have it also.
I hope that you enjoy your trees. They sound really pretty. I did not get any of them. Your and Gail will be lighting up your yards all year round. That is a good idea to have them up all year round. They have a lot of different lights on them.
I am glad that the ice and the Alleve helped with your back. That is not a lot of fun when your back hurts. You cannot do much of anything else when you are in so much pain. I forgot about my back docs appointment the other day will have to call them and see if they can get me in.They do not call and remind you of appointments so it is easy to forget about them. Well at least for me my mind is going quickly.
I wish that you girls lived closer. We have been bringing in so many tomatoes and cucumbers everyday that we cannot eat them all. I may have to make more sauce with them. Nothing else in the garden did that good this year so do not have any green peppers or zucchini. It is really sad because we eat a lot of zucchini. Ron did make some pickles but we can only eat so many of them. There is not a lot you can do with cucumbers that I can think of. May have to look on the internet and see what they have on there.

Hi Gail,
I am not sure that the TSV is meant for anyone over 25. lol It seems like that would kill you if you used it. I could see trying to squeeze that thing and it popping out and flying across the room. I guess I should have watched someone use it but did not have a chance to do that. Exercise equipment is not on my shopping list anymore. It is just too much work.
I wonder why it happens. The only thing that I can think of is that some of the hosts talk and laugh and they take more time showing the clothes. They sure did not do much laughing and goofing off like they usually do. Did you like the quackatizer that they had last night? I am not sure that Feta cheese would be good with watermelon. It may be Kristen usually makes really good snacks but never heard of doing that with watermelon. Guess should try it before saying anything about it just seemed strange to put it on watermelon.
I love to watch animals run. They are so graceful and look so pretty when they are doing it. That is really a good memory of Belle. She was a pretty dog. It is good to have all the good memories that we have of our dogs. I just picture all of them running and playing over the rainbow bridge. They are all happy and doing all kinds of fun things.
There are boys around but Ethan just does not play with them that much. He says that they get on his nerves. He may have one of the kids come in and play on one of his games for awhile but when they want to go outside he does not want to go. He loves to read books also. So I think that is what he does with most of his summer. I think that my daughter should make him do other things but you know how that is. I do not know what I am talking about.
So far I like the front loader. If Ron would quit playing with it. It was washing last night and he would not leave it alone and he hit the button to stop it and then it started all over again. He kept blaming the machine. I told him to just go in the other room and when it was done it would ding and we could go in and put the stuff in the dryer. He is like a kid with a new toy. Oh well it will keep him from running around and touching the sides of the fridge and the freezer. lol
I could not think of the guys name to add him to the prayer list. Sorry about that. I think all the heat is frying my brain. It would be nice if it would cool down a little bit around here. It seems to just keep getting hotter and hotter. I guess that it is the humidity more then just the heat.
