I am glad that Greg got your lap top fixed. Could you send him to our house so he can fix ours. lol We have not had as much trouble since we have turned the air on. Maybe it was getting to hot where we have it setting. We may have to move it out.
Yes the Rams did move to California. That is why Ron is rooting for any team that plays against them. They cost St. Louis a lot of money before they moved. They wanted a new stadium and all the plans that were made and they hired an architect to draw up some plans and everything else. That guy that owns them is a real jerk. Most people here were glad to see them leave. We also think that our government officials are nuts for doing all that for a team that they did not know for sure if they were going to stay or not.
Aliza was a little crabby. Those teeth are right at the top of the gums and her poor little mouth is so sore. Ron said that he thinks the one tooth is breaking thru but she would not let us look to make sure. It will be nice when they do come thru. The poor little thing is so sore from that. Other then that she was pretty good. She does not crawl but she rolls all over the place. She get all over the place. She was rolling towards the doorway to the dining room We had to stop here there. I am wondering if she is going to just keep rolling until she walks or what she is going to do.
It is hard to believe that Lachlan and Kaylee are both going to start school this year. Melissa is really going to be lonely with her at school and Stephen gone. I think that is why she held her back a year. She did not want to be alone at home all day. She would probably keep both of them at home if she could. It will be interesting to see how the two of them make out when they start school You will have to let us know how Lachlan likes it.
I will be praying for Kendall. She has such a hard time with going to school. It is a shame that they cannot figure out what makes her so stressed out at school. There has to be something that bothers her. Maybe one day she will tell someone what is wrong but until then there is nothing you can do. It just really makes me feel bad for her.
Thank for the prayers. Today was the seventh vial of blood that they have taken in the last two weeks. I feel like a pin cushion. They are supposed to call me tomorrow about the x-rays and then I am not sure when the results from the blood work will come in. It is hard to just sit and wait.

Hi Girls,
I really need some prayers. I have been to the lab twice already and they still do not know what is wrong. My white blood cell count is really high. So tomorrow I have to go back and have more blood work done and chest x-rays. I do have anemia again but they are going to try an iron tablet for awhile before sending me to have the IV again. So if you have time pleas say a prayer I really need them this time.

Hi Adele,
The washer spins too many times and he cannot balance it. So that has to be the washers fault because it sure is not his. He has a level sitting on top of it to make sure that it is level and it looks level to me. But what do I know I am just a woman and do not do that stuff like he does. Potato soup is coming soon to this house.
I am glad that your eye is okay now. It is a good thing that you did not have to call the doctor. That is one job that I do not like either dusting. Where does all that dust come from? You dust one day and the next day you have dust on the furniture. We use to live on a gravel road and it would be so dusty that you could hardly stand it. They have paved the road though and so it is not as bad.
I am glad that you like you new floor. Sounds like it is much easier to take care of. We have carpet throughout the house and now wish we would have thought that out better. It would be nice to have hard wood floors in the dining room and the living room. They also put white tile in our kitchen and that was a big mistake. Ron drags dirt and mud in all the time. He works in the garden or goes outside to feed the animals and get junk on his feet. On a while floor it shows up really well.
I had a good time with Aliza Monday. I also watched Owen. Aliza is doing so much on her own now. She can hold her bottle if she wants to and she will for about 5 seconds. Then she decides that you are not paying enough attention to her and she lets go. She is coming here tomorrow and we are watching her while her mom and my other daughter take the kids swimming. It is just too hot for Aliza to go to the river with them They are going to a place called Johnsons shut ins. It is a nice place to swim and they have life guards and everything there. It will be interesting to see how she does here. She has never stayed at our house without her mom.

Hi Gail,
That was good news from the doctor. It was nice that you got to go back and babysit again. I can imagine how excited the kids were to see you. Did they talk your ear off about the wedding and the fair? That is funny that Kendall said that you were the servants. Piper did come to your rescue and made you a princess and Greg a prince. Kids can say the funniest things.
I do not blame you for getting that shot. I am thinking about getting one also. It just seems like more people are getting pneumonia now. Maybe it is because older people always did get it easier. We are just now finding that out.
Maybe if the Cubs make it to the play offs they will start talking about a new stadium again. The new ones that the Cardinals have now is really nice. I have not heard how the Cubs are doing lately. I imagine that they are still doing pretty good. They have to be doing better then the Cardinals. I think that they are the worse team this year. It is almost like watching the Rams. Ron is funny the other day he said that he has decided what foot ball team to root for. Any team that is playing against the Rams. So that will be a lot of teams to root for.lol
I am babysitting for Aliza again tomorrow. She is bringing her to our house though.Her and Amanda and the older kids are going swimming. I guess it is their big fun thing to do before they go back to school. It is hard to believe that they are going back to school next week. I think that they all will be back at school Wednesday. Kylie is excited because it is her senior year. The other kids do not want to go back. When do the kids go back in your area? Summer just flew by this year. None of the kids got to spend a week with us this summer. I guess we can always hope for next summer.

Hi Barbara,
I am sorry to hear that Jerry’s mom is having problems.The people in rehab are right. You and Jerry cannot handle his mom if she needs a lot of help. Is Jerry’s oldest brother one of the good ones are is he one of the greedy ones? I hope that he is one of the good ones and you can all work this out. If something happens that she has to go and live in a home Jerry has nothing to feel guilty about. He really did a good job at keeping her at home. You did also. Jerry could not have done this without your help. I think that you were right to make Jerry rest for a day and night.It probably did him a lot of good. Gives him time to think about things also. It will be hard to take her out of her home but if she cannot stay at home by herself or with you and Jerry she needs to be somewhere she can get the care she needs. There is no way that you or Jerry could pick her up if she fell at your house. Neither one of you are able. Maybe she will go into one of those assisted living places. She can have her own space until she cannot do anything for herself. I will be praying for all of you.
Your dinner that you fixed for Neal and Sarah sounds really good. The baby should be coming soon. They do take their time and come when they are ready. I imagine that Sarah is ready to have the baby. It is hard to be pregnant during the hot summer. She had to go thru the whole summer being pregnant. It is going to be so nice when the baby comes.
You did the right thing with the soup. You and Jerry have enough going on without getting sick. Your really do not want to be sick when the baby comes. You have to be there to spoil him. It is so special to hold them when they are first born and sit and rock them in the rocking chair in the room. They are just so precious and you and Jerry are going to make great grandparents.
We did one of those books for one of the grand kids and hid mom put it up for him. He would listen to it a lot when he was little and then when he got older she just put it up so he would have it. I think it is a good idea to give the kids things like that. That way they will remember us.

I can just hear Piper telling you all about the wedding. She may act it out for you. She is going to have a lot to talk to you about. She went to the fair and to a wedding and she has not talked to you yet. She will never be able to stop talking. lol She is such a cutie.
I did watch some of the shows but did not buy anything either. It is just too hot. Today was a little cooler though but it is going to warm up again. Did you get any of the storms up your way?
Sounds like you are starting to feel better. Have you gone back to the doctor yet? Hope that the cough is gone soon. You have to be getting tired of coughing all the time. You also need to be able to have some grand kid time again. You will be having withdrawals soon.lol
We have not watch any of the Olympics yet. Ron does not seem all that interested about any of this. It is a shame that they do not have the crowd that they usually have at other Olympics. It is rough when you have an illness that is going around and people are afraid that they will get it. They should have found something to spray to keep them off the fields where the Olympics are. Guess that it is too new though to have done that. Christine was telling me that the USA has won a few medals. That is nice.
That is such good news about Todd. At least his step father is around to let him know how proud that he is of him. He has really accomplished a lot. Hope that he enjoys his new positions. That is a really good success story. There are still kids around that are doing well.
That is funny that you are spoiling your grand dogs. They will be disappointed when they go home and cannot sit on the furniture there. Have they picked up the dogs yet? You will miss them when they are gone. You will miss them sitting with you on the couch.
I thought that they were going to build a new stadium for the Cubs. Guess I am thinking of a different team. The Cardinals are doing so bad that it is hard to watch them. So I am rooting for the Cubs and hope that they make it to the world series. They do deserve to win it has been such a long time. That curse has to be over with.

Hi Adele,
You are so funny. Gary was there for sarcasm and criticism. Ron is like that with a lot of things. Gary it is trees but with Ron it the washing machine. He sits in a chair and watches the thing work. Then he tells me all the faults there are. He decided that he does not like the machine. This time I put my foot down and told him that the machine was not for him that I like it and am going to keep using it. It sounds like potato soup will be on the menu soon if he does not stop. I bet that was hard on Gary to admit that he was wrong. Even though he did not say it in so many words it is what he meant. Wonder if he will feel different when you put the white ones up.
Your muffins sound really good. Maybe Rissy will made it over this evening to get one. It will taste just as good in the evening as it would in the morning. I am going to make blue berry turn overs tomorrow. I should have made some tonight so I could take them to Owen tomorrow. I am babysitting for Aliza and Owen again tomorrow. I do not mind babysitting for them it is just that long drive that bothers me.
If we could we would send you some of this rain. We had it for one day and then that was all. I do not know if we will have anymore or not. Well at least soon. This weather has been crazy. Hope we get some snow this winter. We could use it.

Hi Dianne,
I have decided not to get him a hover board. He is ten so he is old enough for one. There was a boy in his neighborhood that was riding one and he really liked it. But since Sue wrote on here about the dangers and you have said something I have changed my mind. I also think that Gail and Adele said something also. He has a skate board so will have to think of something else. I really do appreciate everyone giving me advice on that thing. So will just forget about it.
That was good that you made a list. That way you remembered everything that you wanted to say to them. I am at the age where is I do not write things down I forget. I hope that it all works out for you and they make the improvements that need to be made. You are helping all the people that live in the building. It is funny that he had to bring reinforcements.
I like the pictures that you have posted. The one with the guy standing by the snow is fascinating. That was a lot of snow. Don’t water falls have a calming effect on you. I know that they do me. They are so pretty.
Hope that they get that medicine worked out for you. It in not fun to be in a fog all day long. Hope that it works out.
