Hi Adele,
OMG what a mess with all that dust from the wood in the house. At least this guy really tried to be tidy about things. Sure was a lot better then the kid that did the tile in the kitchen. So how do you like having the wood on the floor now? I bet that it is really pretty. I do not know why they got away from having wood floors but they did. It would be nice if they went back to it again.
It is so hot today here. At least we did have some cloud coverage so it was not as bad as it could have been. We had to go to St. Louis today. My washer broke down and we had to get another one. We were lucky Danyielle was wanting to get rid of hers because Kevin had one and they did not want to let it sit in the garage. So she called us and asked if we would take hers and then we would not have to rush out and just get one and not have the time to look around. So it worked out well for both of us. So now we have one and she has one and we can look for another one when we are ready. This is a front load washer and I have been wanting one. So now I can try it out and see if we want to invest the money in one. She also gave us the dryer. They are different to use. They sure do not use as much water as the top load ones do. So will find out if I like it or not.
i cannot believe that you did that with that duster. Then have to vacuum again. How is your back? I hope that you did not pull anything in your back. I can see why Heather was getting up set with you. Well Bobby had a good idea to tape that on the pool thing. Hope that it will work and not make more work for you.
That was nice that your turned the air down for that man. He probably really appreciated it. You knew that you were being nice to him so he wanted to return the favor and clean up a little. lol He sounded like a nice man and a good worker cared about the customer.
Our little Aliza is sitting up on her own now. When we go to Danyielle’s she was sitting playing her little piano. It was funny. She is so use to me coming and her mom leaving that she is not sure if she should be happy to see me or if she should cry. She finally decided to smile and play. I had to get down in the floor with her. She was sitting really close to the couch so had something to pull myself up on. If not they would have had to get the dolly and help me up out of the floor. Aliza is starting to play now also. She plays with her toys without everyone sitting there playing with her. The doctor said that she felt two places on her gums where the teeth will be coming thru soon. I guess that is why she is in so much pain. Her teeth are coming in two at a time. The poor little baby.
I have all three presents here at the house. We have a storage container that we put them in. It is one of those plastic ones. Ron put one of the heaters on top of it so the kids will not open it. They would not take the heater down because they would get into trouble with their parents. Grandpa would not be too nice either. I still have three more grands to buy for and then the adults.

Hi Gail,
Pictures of ducks, dogs and cats are all good for this site.I do not think that there is anyone on here that does not have a dog or a cat. Well are at least had one at one time or another. That is funny that Jenny’s dog liked to go in the pool with her. Belle must have been an adventurous dog.
I have never heard of having a dog shower in your house. That was a good idea. Sure makes it easier to bath your dog. Your were lucky that Abby would go in the shower and let you bathe her in there. Do not think that we ever had a dog that enjoyed a bath. We always had to fight with them to put them in the bath tub or a tub outside.
Tonight Ron came in and watched Quacker with me. They showed the dj with the sparkle all down the leg and then they showed that price. Ron looked at me and said that he thought most of the dj are in the 40 dollar range. You talk about shocked. I never knew that he was paying attention. I guess he was though. They did show a few items twice in the show tonight. I wonder if it is because some of the hosts laugh and clown around with Angel and the others stick to showing the clothes. I could not believe the host ( Sandy Bennett) I think said that she was wearing denim and co. on the Quacker. That really surprised me. Usually the host will wear the clothes that are on the show that they are hosting. Angel was really nice about it but she said that she was not sure what the buyer would think about it. I thought that was a little uncomfortable. Makes you wonder why she did it or why she said anything.
They need to get Ethan interested in doing other things.He hardly ever wants to go outside to play. Now Kaylee would stay outside if they would let her. They put a little park in across from where they live and she goes over there and plays a lot. She will play with whatever kids are over there and that makes it nice. One thing that they do not have to worry about as much is strangers getting on the base. They check out everyone and and they do patrol the streets a lot. Melissa can look out her window or door and see the kids playing in the park.
That is sad that none of you could go to Nan’s house. That must be unusual when the Choirboys have to cancel a concert. People were probably very disappointed. Maybe sometime in September you can all get together. I am sorry to hear that one of the guys has cancer. Hope that the chemo will help to get him well and back out on the road and singing.
How are you feeling now? Hope that the medicine is working for you. Did you go to the concert or is it at a later date. Hope that you enjoy it.

That is scary to have a fire in the building. Did you all have to evacuate? It is good that it did not do any damage to the apartments where you live. How terrible that the apartments caught on fire down the road. Hope they got that fire out really fast and no one was hurt. This is a bad time of the year for fires. It seems weird to me that it is but they say that there are more fires in hot weather and really cold weather.
You are having such good weather. It is just hot and humid here. They will have another heat advisory out again tomorrow. It is going to be in the 90’s and humid. So it will be a health hazard. I am ready for fall and winter. This has been a miserable summer this year.

Things never work out the way we plan. Did he get all the lumber cut before the rain came? Maybe that is why he came early he wanted to get things done before it started to rain. Your house will look so nice when they get that done.
Now you will have to let me know when you and Tillie go one AGT and do your act. That is one show that I want to see. Where is in the world do you buy tassels? I am sure that they are not at the local Wal Mart. I can just picture you and Tillie going into a store and telling them that you need some tassels. Can you imagine the look on the clerks face. it would be funny if we all lived close and could all go in together and ask for them. They would have everyone in the store wondering what we were up to.lol
It is really hot here again. I cannot believe that we cannot get out of this heat wave. We have had some rain but it does not help. It is going to be in the nineties all week again. I am ready for fall an winter. This heat has been way too much this year. We need to go to my mom’s and take her some tomatoes and cucumbers but it has been too hot to make that trip up there. Wish she would move closer to us. She never will though. SHe really likes her doctors there and does not want to change.

Hi Gail,
You always find the cutest pictures to put at the top of the page. I like the pig eating ice cream. The dogs on the rafts are so cute. The one with the goggles looks so cool. Wonder how people get their dogs to be that still on the rafts like that.
That is a good idea to go in on the gift for Lachlan. He will like that more then anything else you could get him. It will also give you some ideas for Christmas gifts. You can get him games that he would really love to have. One of the grands has a wii u but have never seen them play on it. They are always playing on their tablets when I am around. Ethan told me the other day that he wants a phone that he can text his friends on. I do not think that I will get involved in that one. That is definitely a mom and dad gift.
We have been looking things up on the hover boards. They did have on guy that said that they have improved them a lot and they are safe. Do not know for sure though so will keep checking. They have put something on them to cool the battery down so it does not catch on fire. That may be why they have gone up in price. I could not balance on one of those. I would fall on my face. I can hardly walk and chew gum.
What a terrible time to get sick. Now that you are getting ready for vacation. Hope that you will get to go sometime later this month. You always have such a good time when you go. You and Nan do a lot of shopping. Is that the place where you sit by the lake and read a book or just relax? It is a good thing that you went to the doctor. You never would have gotten rid of this if you hadn’t gone. Pneumonia is horrible to deal with. My mom has had that a couple of times. Just take care of yourself and rest. What would we do without our husbands. They sure do take good care of us.

Hi Adele,
The girls that were working at the back doctors have gone to bigger and better things. Two of them went to be RNs and one of them had a baby and they found cancer when she was pregnant. So her and her husband thought it would be better if she stayed home with the kids and not work anymore. They are all really nice there but it is hard to get use to the new girls. They are not as good as the old girls were and they do not stay because of it. I think that some people complain about them. They do not bother me they do try to do their best and that is all you can ask of them. They will not be as good as the other girls were because they are just starting. They will catch on and be just as good. It just takes time. I really do like it if they leave the heating pad on my back a little longer then they are supposed to. It feels pretty good. You can always take the thing off if you do not want it on you anymore.
That is scary if you feel any type of pain in your back. It is hard to tell for sure what it is. You were smart to ice it and take Alleve. You probably stopped it form hurting for a couple of days. You can never know what will pull your back out that is for sure.
You need to turn your phone off from 11 at night until 11 in the morning. That should stop a lot of people from calling. Sometimes if people call too early in the morning we just do not answer the phone. If there is something wrong with my mom my brother calls my cell phone so do not have to worry about that. The kids do not call us early either they do not get up the early. The only one that does is Danyielle because she has Aliza. If they could get Aliza to sleep in they would also. Babies just do not want to cooperate.
We do not have a BIckfords around here. We do not have that many places that serve breakfast now. There use to be a lot of places but most of them closed. The fast food restaurants do still have their breakfast but those are not always good. We have to go into Festus or Arnold if we want to find a place.
That is so sad that Nancy is going thru so much right now. You should add her to the prayer list. We will say a prayer for her.Hopefully her son will be okay. Cancer is a cruel illness. There is a lot of it going around right now. Everyone you talk to knows someone that has cancer in their family. I do not understand why it is so strong right now.
If your weather reports are like ours there is no telling if you will get rain are not. We have had rain a few times this week but only one day that it was pretty steady. It is still hot though. We did not cool down like they said that we would. I was looking forward to a couple of days that were not so hot and humid. Guess not any time soon.
What are you doing to Tillie. Inspiring her to go on that show and dance. Did you get her some tassels? You are so funny and so it Tillie. You must have a lot of fun around your house. You have such a good personality. It is sad that you have to go to Wal Mart to find Gary a sense of humor. lol

Hi Gail,
They did show those trees that you were talking about in their ads for CIJ. They do not have them though. They would have been cute to give my sils but I waited too late. I do not know how I missed them. They had some Angels but they did not have faces. The ones with the faces are a lot prettier. The dresses that they had on were really pretty it is just a shame they did not have a face. I think that they were by Valarie but they just did not have faces. It seemed like most of the things that she had this time around was way too big for a lot of peoples homes. They would take up a lot of space so did not by anything from her. I did order one of her wreaths this year. I have always ordered them for the girls but never for us so this year I did it.
That zika virus is really scary for pregnant women and people with small children. My daughter said something about it could really make a child sick also. I really do not have much information on it. I guess we should find out what we can about it. We heard that it had come to Florida but not heard about any other state. Hope that they find a spray that will take care of the mosquitoes. There is supposed to be a certain that you use that will kill them.The bracelots that they cell will not work on them.
The biggest items that I bought was the presents for the grands for Christmas. Ethan wants one of the hover boards. I have been looking for one that is not $300.00 dollars. I have checked Amazon and saw the one on the Q but they were too high. Will just have to keep looking and see if I can find one that is not that expensive. They said that they did a lot of improving on them this time around. So they are safe now. So now it is a worry if you get the ones that they fixed or the old ones that were not as good. May have to wait a couple of years before we can get one and by then he will be too old for one.
There should be something that they can do for that cold.You have been coughing for a long time. That has to be making you tired. Maybe they will give you the antibiotics this time since the zpac did not work. That is unusual that they do not work though.
What was leaking on Jenny’s floor? I am glad that they found it so they can continue working on her basement. That play room that they are doing down there sounds really nice.

This is a terrible time of the year to have trouble with your fridge. I hope that they get it straightened out. I hope that the meeting with the ceo of the housing goes well for you. Just stick to your guns and do not let them talk you out of anything. It is nice that he is going to come and talk to you. That would be aggravating to find that your ice cream had melted. That is terrible.
Jewell looks so cute after she gets her hair cut. I like the pictures that you posted of her the last time she got one. She is such a pretty cat. How long have you had her?
Did you hear Rick say that everything is on easy pay that was on the show today? It is nice but do not have that much money to buy it. This is just a bad time of the month for me. Just bought Christmas for three of the grand kids and so have to slow down with buying things. Oh well they will have things that will be just as nice later.
Love the pictures that you posted. That little old man is so funny. He is right we are not that old. lol
