Hi Adele,
I did not know that they made cranberry vitamins. I may have to try taking them. It may help with the UTI’s that I get. I do not get them as often anymore but it would be nice to never have another one.
There is always a hitch when there is a wedding. That would put you in a panic mode when you lose the band. It was so nice that the dj you knew could recommend some one for you. The dungarees were interesting thing to wear to a wedding. They have all kinds of interesting things that they are doing for weddings now. It is not like when we go married. You wore a dress or a wedding gown. Is Heather married now? She has had some really rough times. Your really did come up with some good ideas on what to do when you were in the restaurant. Sounds like you really decorated it nice. It was better then the barn.
Well I cannot stay mad at Ron when he brings food home so I do not have to cook. He bought some Chinese food so I do have to be nice to him for a few days. lol He is still on probation though.lol

Hi Gail,
I think that is what I had heard also in biology. My mind does not go that far back anymore so cannot be sure but if you think that you heard that then it must be right. I am just wondering if I had that infection when I was going to the other doctor. He would have never found it unless the government told him he could run more tests.lol They did send me an antibiotic to take. I started it today. What I meant by my comment is that you have a much better memory then I do. I really have to watch how I word things. We are all really good friends. We can talk to each other about anything and no one judges you. We also do not have anyone talking about the other one on here. That is what I like the most about this. We are friends and so many other sites will say things about each other. Never could join one of those groups.
Is Shawn Killinger pregnant? The last couple of times that I have seen her on the q she is wearing dresses that make her look like she is. I really hope that she is since she wants a baby so badly. It is hard to want a child and not be able to have one.
I cannot wait to hear from our grand kids also. I will call them tomorrow as they will be busy talking to their moms. I am afraid to talk to Kaylee. She may not be so happy about going to school. She really did not want to go. I think that Melissa should have put in school last year. It is too late to be worrying about that now. Kylie will be all excited because it is her last year. So will have a lot of conversations with all of them. It is a shame that we cannot get all of them together and talk to them then.
That will be one interesting conversation when Piper starts school. She will talk your ear off. I can imagine how excited she will be. Will her aunt be her teacher like she was for Lachlan?

Love the pictures. You always find the cutest pictures. These are really nice that you posted today. Thank you for posting them. They do brighten up my day.
We have been having cooler weather here but it will warm up by next week The kids are lucky that it is not really hot for their first day of school. I guess it does not make a difference though they have air in the schools now.

Hi Adele,
I wrote all about the blood work and the x-ray on Gail’s post so if you want to read that. We have had so much going on here. It is so much fun to be with Aliza. I wrote to Gail about playing ball but forgot to write about this. Aliza was a little fussy and so I picked her up and she did not want to get back down. So I held her and she sat there until she went sound to sleep. That was so sweet it has been a long time since a baby fell asleep in my arms. When the family would all get together and they wanted the kids to go to sleep they would give the baby’s to me to rock and put to sleep. So you know what they all thought about me, I am boring and they would rather sleep then sit in my lap and have to listen to me sing to them.lol
I hope that you made it to and from the doctors without getting caught in the rain. Our rain finally stopped this afternoon and it has been nice here. It was so good to see the sun. Even if we did not see it until late this afternoon.
I like to fix zucchini and potatoes in butter and add some onions and it tastes really good. If my sil brings me some zucchini I will try fixing it with eggs and see if Ron likes that. I am pretty lucky with him he will eat just about everything. Good thing that I have the potato soup to fall back on.lol

Hi Gail,
I think that you are right about girls always closer to their moms. I cannot say much about boys because I have never had one. We do a lot with our daughters now then when they were younger. When they are younger they do not think that we are cool. We just get in their way. Now we are more like friends and they want us with them to go places and do things with them. They even ask our advice. How things have changed.lol
We did not get any green peppers this year. We mostly had tomatoes and cucumbers. Our veggies are slowing down now. I did make some spaghetti sauce and put it in the freezer. So we will have that for this winter and it will be good. I just wish that there was a way to keep cucumbers besides making pickles. There are not a lot of recipes though. Ron wants to try and freeze them but do not think that they would be any good when you thawed them out. They would be all soggy. We probably would not eat them.
I did finally hear from the doctor. I have a uti. My chest x-rays were clear and she really did not know much about the blood work except that my white count was normal this time. I really would like to find out why my white count goes up and down like that. I have to go to the doctor next month so will ask her then. I am taking iron tablets and will find out if that is all that she thinks that I will have to take. It would be nice. I want to thank you for the prayers and everybody else they really helped. The Quacker prayer warriors really did help.
That is so funny that Piper did a dance for her dad for his birthday. She is so cute. She is going to be a performer when she gets older. She really likes to dance and and model clothes. That will be nice when you only have to watch Piper and you two can have some one on one time. One thing for sure she will keep you entertained.
I babysat for Aliza today. She was laying in the floor and she rolled her ball and it came to me so I rolled it back and she rolled it back to me. I was really surprised that she would do that. We did it for a few minutes and then you know how they are at that age they lose interest. Now this is probably normal but it is the first time I have had one of the little ones like her do that. It might be because of Owen. He probably does things like that with her. You can tell that she is my granddaughter.lol

Hi Adele,
The water did get out of its banks but did not go onto the road. She lives on a hill so it does not effect her as much. The people that live closer to the bottom of the road in the subdivision has to go up the hill to go out the other way to go anywhere. It is hard to explain how this road goes. It is close to the Meramac River and the road is Meramac Bottom road. So it does have a couple of low spots that can flood. They usually do. My daughter Mandy said that the roads were clear though. So there will be no problem.
I wish that we could send some rain your way. We have had rain here for two and a half days now. We will see if it rains tomorrow or if it stops. They are talking about it being cloudy all day tomorrow. It was not that hot today but tonight it has been really muggy. We had the air off for a couple of days but had to turn it back on tonight.
Sounds like JJ is having a great time. It is nice that Steph and Adam and Aizan will get to go up there also and spend some time.When does JJ go back to school? Our kids all go back to school on Wednesday. I hope that it is not really hot that day. It probably will be though. They keep starting earlier and earlier every year. What happened to starting after Labor day.
Isn’t it great news about Barbara. I am so glad that her grandson is here. She sounded really happy. She got to experience the feeling of having a grandchild. I can just see her face when she was holding the baby.

Congratulations grandma. I know that you are so excited about the baby being here. We are just so happy for you. This is a wonderful time for all of you. What a nice thing for you and Jerry to do. Take them a meal and then watch the baby so they can eat. They will appreciate that a lot. I bet your heart just melted when you held that little guy in your arms. They are so precious.

Hi Dianne,
I do like the pictures that you posted. I love the snow scenes they are so pretty. I really like snow it is pretty when it falls and is in the trees. We do not get a lot of snow every winter but when we do it is nice. I think that Gail and Adele get more then their share of the snow.
We have not watched much of the Olympics this time around. It just seems like we are watching something that we wanted to see or we just do not think of it. Use to be when the Olympics were being played that they carried it on a lot of channels but this year I have noticed that they have not done that. I think of all the channels we have it is only on one channel. We did get to see the American swimmer take the gold medal. I think that he took a few of them. Phelps I think his last name is. He is really doing good he is just a good swimmer.
We are finally getting the rain that we need. It has been so hot and dry. It is cooler here now also. I guess that your cooler weather came our way. We could use it. Just do not go out if you do not have to with it being so hot. It is hard on a person to go out in the heat.
How nice that they come to where you live for eye exams. You are lucky that you have such good eyes. Wish I could say the same. I have diabetic now I forgot what they call it. I also have cataracts so my eyes are shot. Diabetic retinopathy I know that I spelled it wrong but hope you know what I mean. My spell check on here will not give me the right spelling either. My brain is gone today. Maybe it will come back when the day is over or I take a nap.lol

Hi Gail,
That was a good deal on the bouncy house. Sounds like the kids had a good time. It was nice that they got to play outside and not have to stay in the house the whole time. That really gets rowdy when they have to stay in the house. They are kids so they are going to get loud. I am getting old and crabby. Well maybe I have been like this for awhile. I hope that Jenny and Adam got to go out for awhile that evening. They probably needed a break. It is nice that Adam’s girls are at an age where they can babysit.
Maybe it will be a one time thing with Jenny’s fil. He may have gotten too hot and that had a lot to do with it. It is good that it did not happen more then the one time. He will have to be careful when it is so hot and not do as much at one time. Her mil will be gone for a whole month. That is a long time to be away from home. I guess that her daughter needs her. That would be a hard choice to make and a long time to be away from home.
You have been really sick. It is no wonder that you are tired. Pneumonia takes a lot out of you. Are you done with your inhalers? Does that make a difference now are is your breathing almost back to normal? We should all get those shots. It is getting to where we catch things that we never did before.
Has it been raining up your way? We have had rain for two days now. We really needed the rain. The only bad thing is if you want to go to the garden you have to put boots on or you will sink in the mud. Well if you do not sink you will lose your shoe. Mud does not feel good gushing thru your toes. Our tomatoes are slowing down a little now but the cucumbers just keep coming up. We have more of them then we know what to do with. We have been giving them to anyone that wants them. Even if they do not want them we are giving them away. It will not be long and people will be locking their doors when they see us coming. My sil said that she as a lot of zucchini if we want some of them. Will have to get some so I can make bread and bars. If it stays cool for awhile I can start baking them right away and have them for later in the year. I like to make a lot and then freeze it until we want it. I also give it to family for Christmas.
