Hi Barbara,
I am so glad that you found a place for Jerry’s mom. She will like it there. The wreath that you got her sounds really nice. That is a good number to have in one cottage. There is not to many to take care of in one place. She should get a lot of attention and maybe they will work on her memory. It would be nice if she got moved to another cabin where she can do more for herself and be self reliant. It will be nice for her to be with people her own age. How nice that she is only 20 miles from your house. That is not too bad. You and Jerry will be able to see her more often. The back yard there sounds really nice. Jerry and his mom can go outside on a nice day and eat lunch. Maybe you and Jerry can take a picnic lunch there and she could eat some home cooking. That was really nice that the maintenance man got Jerry to let him put the bed together. This may be the best place for all of you.
It would be nice if you and Jerry could get away for a couple of days and just relax. Do not think about anything just have a good time. Sometimes a couple of days can really do a lot to renew your energy. You two have been thru a lot.
I hope that Sarah brings the baby by one day. You need to see him and hold him. We had a hayride here Friday night and we all had a good time. They brought Aliza and her and I were in the house. I have this witch that plays music and Aliza was dancing to the music. She just kind of rocks back and forth. Once we got started she could not wait for me to play the music again. She is such a little cutie. My daughter came in and took a movie of her dancing on my phone. I may have it put on a disc so we can watch it on the computer or on the dvd player. Just wait you will have so many things to see that will make you smile. It is better then when our kids were young. These little ones are so special.
How nice that you had Neil over for dinner and made his favorite food. He was probably glad that you did it and he enjoyed it. THere is nothing like mom’s home cooking for the kids. What is happening with Joey? Is he still going to go to Alaska and do nursing? I hope that he likes doing that. I have heard that Alaska is really beautiful.

Hi Sue,
Did the electric go off in the whole house or just on your computer? That is a pain when it goes off if it is the whole house and even worse if it was just your computer acting up.
It is always nice to have extra money coming in. I hope that you enjoyed the day and seeing all the people that you use to work with. It is hard at first when you stop working. You miss everyone and having something to do everyday. I know that it took me awhile to get use to it.

Hi Adele,
We did have a good time tonight. I wore the ghost shirt with the grey vest. I really liked that one. I also have the one with the animals dressed up in costumes. I will have to wear that one later in the month. We had a good sized group tonight and everyone had fun. They usually do. That is one thing that we do here that Ron’s family comes over for. We all have families now and do not get together a lot because there is too many of us. We had to have our Christmas at a hall because no ones house is big enough for all of us anymore. All of our kids have kids and that is a lot of kids.
it misted rain here for a little while but then it cleared up and the stars were so pretty. That is one thing I love about living in the country. The stars look brighter and bigger. We do not have any street lights here or any other type of lights so the sky is really pretty at night. It would be hard for us to move back into town after living here for so long.
Lighting candles are a Catholic thing I think. I like to keep candles lit here over the holidays. Do you remember the votive candles that you would light for someone who was sick or if they needed help. You would go to church and light them and pray. I cannot remember how much money we use to put in the money thing. You do not see or hear of people doing that anymore.

Hi Adele,
I cannot believe that you bought the mouse and spider. You are a better grandma then I am. Those things creep me out. He will be scaring Steph all the time with those things. Mice and rats creep me out.
It is hard to know when you have a uti. There really is not a lot of symptoms. I hope that things go well for Gary on Monday. We will be praying for him. That is good that he is feeling better. Hope that he continues to feel well. It is hard to lose weight.
Ron is a mess. He bought the stuff to put on the deck but did not get the boards to replace the ones that are breaking. We will have the stain and sealer even though we do not have the boards that we need. He always does things backwards. He saw a bag by the side of the road and wanted to go back and see what it was. It looked like a full bag of potting soil. I really have to holler at him to get him to drive on. One day he is going to pick up the wrong bag.
It is cold here also. We are wearing jackets here and heavier coats at night. So we are not going out at night right now. Tomorrow we are having our hay ride so it will be cold outside. We will have a big bonfire though. So it should not be too cold. I do not know how long Aliza will be able to stay outside. So if I get cold I can bring her in the house and play with her for awhile. That will be nice.
Patrick gets into the fun that is for sure. I loved his cape with all the ducks on it. He is so funny,.

Hi Gail,
I saw those throws again and I think that I may get those for his sister. I can get them all one and then get one for me. lol I will have to buy two sets of them. That would be nice though.
I am glad that someone else feels the way that I do about the second show of the week. DWTS needs to stick to the one show a week. They just show the same dances over again on Tuesday. It is a lot more fun when they do new dances. I wonder why they decided to do it that way this year. It is just a shame.
We are getting ready for the hay ride tomorrow night. Every time we schedule the hay ride it gets cold. This year we decided to plan it early and what happens it gets cold. It will be fun anyway. We have a big group coming again this year. No one is sick or busy. That is unusual. It is always fun but a pain to get everything set up. We have to put chairs out all over the place and get the tables set up and put up the decorations. I did get a spider to put in the hay for the kids. It will be interesting to see if they notice or if they just ignore it.

They will have you working part time before it is all over with. lol It is nice that you are filling in for the girl that is doing the job that you use to do. It probably would have been hard on them if you did not come in and help. You are a nice person.

I appreciate you looking to see if you find something and let me know. It is so hard to buy for my sils and Ron will not help me. He just says all of that is too high. I do not know what he is going to get them that is any cheaper. It is hard to find something that you can give to three people and they will all like it. They are always saying that I find the unusual gifts that they never see anywhere. So have to keep up the same thing.
How nice that your sister is going to France in November. Do you ever get to spend Christmas with her or any of the holidays? It is funny as we get older we do not spend as much time with our siblings. We do not see much of our cousins either just at funerals. That is just so sad. Time to change the subject. sorry. It is no wonder that your sister is skinny. She does all that dancing and loses all of her weight doing that. That would be so nice. I can just hear my back doctor telling me to take small steps and do not do any back bends. lol
Patrick is on the chics night in show tonight also. He has a pumpkin shirt on. You are probably watching the show and already know it. I did like his count quackula cape that he had on yesterday. That was funny. Did you see the guy that works for qvc come out in the witches hat shirt on. That was really funny also.

Hi DD,
Dwts was okay tonight. I hope that they are not just going to show the dances from the day before every Tuesday. It is nice that they had singers on there and all the extra dancing but it is fun to see the couples do a new dance. Did you hear that they are going to do circus things next week? That should be interesting . Wonder how they are going to judge that. Were surprised that Rick Perry went home tonight? I kind of thought that he might. It will be interesting to see what happens next week.
I have not watched the Quacker show yet. Will watch it after I get off of here. I hope they do not tempt me too much. I am getting all my easy pay paid off and want to get that done before I buy anything else.

Hi Adele,
Did you see the Halloween decor show? They had a lot of cute things on there but did not buy any. They would be nice to have but we do not get any kids on Halloween so would be a waste of money. The grands do not come on Halloween anymore. They go out with their friends now and do not need to come to grandmas.
My mom tried to teach me how to sew and do other needle craft things but I am left handed and she is right handed and it never seemed to work out right. I would love to learn how to quilt but that did not work out either. I have noticed that they have a lot more things made for left handed people so it is easier. I am just not very good at doing things like that I guess.
Poor Gary. Even when he is trying to be good something happens. Will this delay his surgery for a long time or will they be able to do as scheduled. We are praying for him. It is miserable to have kidney trouble.
I have not watched the Quacker show yet. Will watch it after I get off of here. I am trying so hard not to buy anything until I get all my easy pays paid off. Next month they will all be paid. I cannot believe that I had so many. I just hope that I can control myself when I watch the show tonight. I may not be able to but am going to give it a try. I really want to get the easy pays out of here first.
