Swellie Ellie’s Monster Cookies
1 lb brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 tsp corn syrup (optional)
4 tsp soda
1/2 lb butter
1 1/2 lbs peanut butter
9 cups oatmeal
1/2 lb chocolate chips
1/2 lb M&M’s
Mix in order given in LARGE bowl.
Drop with an ice cream scoop on a greased cookie sheet.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Do not overbake.
Leave on cookie sheet for a few minutes after baking before removing otherwise they fall apart.
These freeze beautifully!

Hi! This is an Amish recipe in our area. Those ladies use the quick oats kind and these cookies are really great! I hope you enjoy.
