Chocolate Chip Logs by Carmel Barninger
3/4 cup margarine 2 1/2 cups flour
3/4 cups sugar 1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 egg 1 bag mini chocolate chips
1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla 1 cup chopped nuts
Cream margarine, sugar, egg and vanilla. Add flour and salt.
Mix in 1/2 bag chocolate chips. Mix well. This is a stiff dough.
Form dough into 2 inch logs.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes. Cookies will look white.
When cool, dip ends into melted chocolate,
then into chopped nuts. Let dry till hardened.
