@colleen1 Hi Colleen, It is good to hear from you. The flooding hasn’t directly affected us here, but I know it has been bad for some. We live pretty high up from the river above a quarry! I’m sorry you had some trouble. The flooding seems to happen more often, like all the other weird weather events. I was also very happy to see the sun; it’s depressing when is rains for days and days. One of these days the grass will need cutting before it’s a foot high! I want to wish you an early Happy Mother’s Day. I hope you get pampered by your family!! Thank you so much for checking in and message any time. God bless and you stay safe too! Mary B

  Hi Mary, I hope that you and your family are doing okay. I hope that you will be safe from all these storms that are supposed to be coming our way. I am ready for us to just have regular rain and no more storms. I guess that will not happen until next winter. Just stay safe and out of the storms.

  Hi Mary, I hope that you have been lucky like us. The storms all went around us. We got a little bit of rain but that was about it. I really wish that the weathermen would quit making such a big deal out of things until they know that it is going to happen. I hope that you had a safe trip to Columbia and back. Hope that you had a nice Mothers day also. We take care of our husbands like we are their mothers sometimes. lol Now Memorial Day will be coming soon and we will probably have a bbq on Monday. They are having a graduation party for my Granddaughter on Sunday. It is so good that she has graduated. We will be so happy to see her diploma and her scholarships. Well that is about all from here.     Hi Colleen, Glad to hear that you are safe. You are right, the weather-people always seem to overdue it! We are okay here. Our trip to Columbia went well and we missed the storms that day too. It is already time to go back. We are spending the night because my husband’s appointment is pretty early Friday morning. We actually haven’t really made plans for Memorial Day. My hubby’s birthday is the 28th!! We will probably BBQ and celebrate at home. Take care my friend! Mary B

      Hi Mary, Just thought that I would check in on you and see how you are doing. Do you have any plans for the 4th of July? We are not doing much I am having cataract surgery on the 3rd so will be stuck at home doing nothing. My husband my bbq for us and that will be it. Will miss going to see the fire works. But next year we will get to go again. Take care and will talk to you later.

      Hi Colleen, It’s good to hear from you! We don’t have any specific plans for July 4th yet. Wow, cataract surgery; what a wonderful thing to get new lens’ in your eyes. I hope all else is well with you and your family. I’m getting tired of this heat and humidity already and there’s more to come!
      I guess I have to move up north to get away-Ha! Have you gotten any new Quacker clothes lately?
      I admit that I’ve gotten some shorts and tops. They are hard to pass up because they are so nice, right? Take is easy pre and post-op and stay cool my friend. Mary

      Hi Mary, I have been buying a lot of Quacker lately. I bought 2 sets of tops and 1 set of the shorts and a pair of jeans. I really do love the shorts. They are so comfortable. The length is just right also.
      It is a little cooler here at night but it is warm during the day.It is nice that we do not have to have the air on at night now. The humidity is going to be high again at the end of the week. Just it is not too bad on the third.
