Thank you so much for your mail and friendship also, its good scott got to go shopping with he’s mom and that he did other stuff too, ive has asthma for years now, just go for a check once a year realy, pleased your dad is feeling better now though, sounds like they are doing the very best for him, just that i guess he has set backs now and again , but the drs are taking good care of him by the sounds of it, more than they do here, here its getting worse each day, the junior drs here keep threatening to go on strike too, you are all welcome to my prayers for you all, patches eye seems to be getting better now, I’m still bathing it though, he was chewing at the sofa cover again today, the little rascal, i gave him a raw hid bone to chew on today, i did laundry this morning too, its very muggy here today, wish it would get cooler though, soon we will be complaining of the cold!! one woman on this site told me she got tickets to go to the quacker show live end of this month the falla ween show, she is lucky, do you have to apply for tickets and get pulled out of the computer or something? thats how it works when i apply for strictly come dancing tickets, they select you at random, i applied last year but didn’t get tickets but did the year before that though, ive applied this year too, today was the last day to apply for tickets for that show, ive got to have my blood test soon, may go one day next week when stewarts around to take me there for it, I’m doing pork ribs tonight with mashed potatoes and tinned spaghetti, then watch tv later on, its the great british bake off show tonight, its realy good though, when that show starts the sale of baking tins and baking ingredients goes through the roof!! last week it was biscuit week and one poor woman made a gingerbread church it was the replica of the church she is getting married in this year and the roof fell apart on it, poor woman she had to leave the show, as her baking was not hitting the mark with the judges, its bread week this week, so it will be nice to see how they get on tonight making bread!, there is another show called the great british menu, they have it on each night mon-fri and they have 3 chefs on there each night preparing a dish like a starter one night, the following night a fish dish, the third night its a main dish and fourth night its dessert dish, they are marked by another chef who is judge all week, and on the thursday when they have done all their cooking the judge decides which 2 will go forward to cook all 3 of their dishes for some other judges and a special guest, the one that gets to be the winner that week goes to the final where they decide who will cook at a banquiet, its is done by regions of areas in england , this week its the south west area that is taking part, last week it was scotland, they have to get judged at the very end to find a suitable menu to have at this banquet, its to honour our queen and the people she had given knighthoods too, like c.b.e citizens of the british empire, or m b e member of the british empire things like that, those people who have won those things get invited to the banquet, its just started to find out who will cook at the banquet, last year it was done for the womans institute as it was a hundred years since that organisation started, i record the programme and watch it the following day, anyway i hope all is ok with you there, my prayers are with you all there, take care hugs to you my friend christine
