Donna Wolf wrote this letter to Jeanne about her Mom. We would like to share with all of you.

Some of you may have heard me refer to my mother as "The Queen Mother" of home shopping. She was the ultimate, loyal, Q watcher, customer and fan. She watched virtually nothing else on TV unless a college football game was on (we have since found out that she taped the Q or vice versa when there was a conflict). Every single gift any of us 5 children would receive for ANYTHING would be a gift from the Q. We have Northern Nights, Bethlehem lights, KJL, Boyd's Bears, Jim Shore, Joan Rivers, Susan Graver, Quacker Factory, Denim and Co and too many more to mention. All 3 of us girls would get the same exact thing and the 2 boys theirs too. Ribs would show up at our doors, or a KC burger pack too. We'd get the little answering machine message..."Donna, its Mom, keep and eye out for a package..." I even wrote the Q about my Mom to see if they could accommodate her for a visit for her birthday in July. They promptly replied favorably.

My mother's house (the 48 year old house I grew up in) has over 400 (I am NOT kidding) solar lights in the front and back yards. Butterflies, flowers, bells, dragonflies, you name it. Her living room has over 50 Marie Osmond dolls, all sitting up proudly on her sofas and chairs like little guests in her home. She wore a Quacker Factory ensemble for every holiday complete with matching socks and shoelaces and either Stan Herman or Carole Hochman always accompanied her to bed.

Well, I am sure you can tell where this is leading, my Mom passed away last Monday. It was an unexpected death that has crushed us all. When I walked into her empty house, I turned and saw over 30 QVC boxes, many unopened that she had piled up in her Christmas gift corner. It was heartbreaking.

All of us "kids" went to the funeral home and it was undisputed that she would be buried in her Quacker Factory Christmas outfit, complete with shoes and socks. Her Halloween outfit is also going with her and if we could, so would her Easter and Fourth of July and Valentine's ones too! That's just the way it should be. Her Memorial Folder talks of her love of QVC the joy that it brought her. There was no one more loyal.

My own kids joke that I am just like "Nama" when it comes to home shopping. Well to me, there could be no sweeter compliment.

Mom, I will miss you dearly. I'm sorry that trip to QVC didn't happened. They would have LOVED you! Donna"
