Ripon GalleryFrom our Family:
Monday,
January 12th at 12 noon, my brother gave up his fight to beat cancer.
The cancer beat him....and it was time to let go. He could no longer
talk or hear or swallow. There is a time to live and a time to
die....and he is at peace. We had a wonderful talk on Christmas Eve for
about one and a half hours and he wanted to talk about the old days. I
knew then that his body was shutting down....he never wanted to talk
about the old days. We laughed and cried together and on Christmas day
he called and we had another great laugh or two....after that his brain
just stopped working for him. As much as you hate to lose someone you
love so much, there is a time when heaven looks like a better
answer.....and he's going to be a really cute angel. I think the wings
will fit him well. My mother came home from the hospital in 1944 on my
5th birthday and gave him to me as a present. He was more my child than
brother for many years....then for years he took care of me.....then we
just became good friends. Just a fun brother and sister.....so we have
had a great life together and loved each other dearly....what more can
you ask for in life? To be loved unconditionally by someone......and
that I had in him.
I want to thank all of you for your prayers
for him. He loved that you were all doing that. Now let's pray for an
answer to this cancer thing....and there HAS to be an answer.

Thank you all for your friendship and love, JeanneRipon Gallery |
