WOW!  Did we have a GREAT time in Branson, or what?  For those of you who couldn’t make it, I am truly sorry.  We had a rip roarin’ time.  Everyone who came was loaded for bear.  We had poodle skirts up the wazoo for the 50’s show, proud to be an American red, white, and blue outfits for the Lee Greenwood show, (although I am convinced that my boots stole the show.  See pictures below, go to www.backattheranch.com to see more.) and jammies galore.  Even the men dressed up.  You gotta love the Quackers!!  You guys are all so creative.  We all so enjoyed seeing you and seeing what new surprises you would show us each day.  We had lots of quality time with everyone.  I know I made some more good friends this trip.  I hope you did too.

I was so impressed with the great job the Branson tourism ladies did to make things run so smoothly.  And how they made sure at all the shows that we were welcome and the acts all acknowledged us.  How fun is that?  The 50’s show let Patrick Hoy have the stage to keep us entertained while we were waiting.  When it came time for the guys in the show to sing the Everly Brothers song Dream, they graciously sang the words that Scott Denny wrote to that tune as Jeanne, like we did on the last cruise.  How many places do you know that would bend over backward like that just to welcome a group?  Both the Bellamy Brothers and Lee Greenwood welcomed the Quackers from the stage and met with the Gold Package members privately before hand.  Lee Greenwood even mentioned my boots during the show.  He said they were great and that soon with boots like those, I’d be living in Texas.  Todd Oliver and the folks on the riverboat trip I think were the most welcoming of all.  I sure felt like I was part of a special group.  And I was.

So I just wanted to share with everyone how wonderful trip was, and hope that for those of you who missed this trip will want to make the next one.  Also I want to thank each of you that did come for making me feel loved and wanted and special.  We none of us would be where we are if it weren’t for you Quackers.  God Bless!

Hugs and Quacks,

Lee
