How do we make our lives happier, fuller, less stressful???

Call in Girlfriends! I feel they are ‘gold in the bank”. And, thankfully, I have many. Without my girlfriends I would have given up on life a long time ago.

I have two local girlfriends, Eleanor and Doreen, and we have dinner in Boca every few weeks.

God love them…..they have patience with my schedule, and we usually meet at a restaurant called Trattoria Romana at 6pm and then close the place at 11pm! There is never a silent moment as we talk about jobs, kids, grandkids, politics, growing old, old friends and anything else that strikes our fancy. Plus, Eleanor knows EVERYBODY in Boca so whoever comes in to the restaurant has to stop by and either chat with her or “quack quack” at us.

Oh, it is just the bestest evening and I always look forward to it as a special treat!

Last week it was both my birthday and Eleanors birthday so when we met, Doreen had the table all decorated with hats and horns and sparkles. When we walked in she sang to us….presents, love and joy was the theme of the evening! Doreen gave each of us a pan of her famous caramel brownies too!

I just wanted to share one of the many parties I had with my great girlfriends!
