I thought a wonderful gift for this Valentine’s Day could be something that did not involve calories!! This is a wonderful scrub I found on Pinterest and I wanted to share it with you!! Since it is mid-winter, it is time to scrub away the dead skin to reveal the fresh skin below!!
Valentine’s Day Sugar Scrub-
Ingredients-
1 cup cane sugar
1 cup freeze-dried strawberries
3/4 cup organic virgin coconut oil, room temperature
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
You want to pulverize the freeze dried strawberries. I put them in a Ziploc bag and used my rolling pin to crush them into a powder.
Blend the sugar, crushed strawberries, coconut oil & vanlla with your stand mixer.
I tripled this recipe, so I could have extra for gifts. Then I took a plastic container (I have gone away from glass to be used in the shower, I wouldn’t want the glass to break). So I dressed the jar up with a fun heart ribbon for gift giving!!
